what is a hmi
What is a hmi?In fact,HMI is generally defined as"an interface for users to communicate, transmit and receive information between machines."

For example,in a factory,we need to collect information about the temperature, humidity, and status of machines in various areas of the factory, monitor and record these parameters through a main controller, and be able to handle unexpected situations when they occur.
This is a typical application of SCADAVHMI.Generally speaking, the HMI system must have several basic capabilities:

Real-time data trend display-display the captured data on the screen immediately.

Automatic data recording-automatically store data in the database for later viewing.

Historical data trend display-visualize the data in the database.

Report generation and printing-data can be converted into report format and printed out.

Graphical interface control-operators can directly control machines and other devices through graphical interfaces.

Alarm generation and recording-users can define some conditions for alarm generation.

For example,if the temperature is excessive or the pressure exceeds the critical value, the system will generate an alarm under such conditions to notify the operator to handle it.

With the development of embedded technology, various embedded human-computer interaction products have emerged and become an indispensable part of various industries.Smart furniture, industrial control, automotive instruments, mobile terminals, etc.are inseparable from human-computer interface.
  HMI configuration software

With the continuous launch of various embedded human-computer interface products, people have found that UI interface development is not only difficult but also cumbersome, and the R&D investment is huge. There is an urgent need for a solution that can reduce the difficulty of UI development and improve development efficiency.

Therefore, configuration software was born.Various UI engines and supporting design tools provide UI development methods such as dragging, configuring, and painting to replace the previous code editing methods, achieve WYSIWYG effects, and greatly reduce the difficulty of UI development.UNimat has also independently developed configuration software, and our Unipro can be provided to customers for free use.

At present,Unimat's HMI is 4.3 inches,7 inches and 10 inches. We support free prototype testing. If you have HMI needs, please feel free to contact us.
